Refund and Returns Policy

My goal is to provide healthy trees and advice to assure you the highest possibility for a thriving tree and positive experience.

I really want you to succeed. I love when people buy MORE trees next season… but hate to see people REPLACING trees.

Unfortunately, there are many factors that can kill an apple tree, from lack of water, improper planting, improper location, disease, to bugs and other animals.

There’s really no way for me to guarantee a tree once a new owner takes possession of it.

Refunds

I can’t offer refunds. I’m not a business rolling in loot over here…

But if one of my trees dies on you, let me know. If multiple people report failure, and if I identify something wrong with the trees after being sold, I’ll do my best to make it right for you.

An Honest Approach

Scab, CAR, and other diseases are in the ether. You can’t escape them.

At least not in the Piedmont.

Since I am a no spray orchard, my trees will always have signs of bug damage and whatever bacteria and fungi are present at the time.

You will NOT find me running around, pulling every less than perfect leaf from a tree, so the trees appear blemish free. This is dishonest and not what I stand for.

Nature isn’t perfect and whether you plan to take an organic approach to your orchard, or implement a spray program, you should recognize what no-spray trees really look like.

  • I will sell any tree that has minor signs of these issues, typical of a no spray environment.
  • I will NOT sell any tree that has major signs of typical issues, that may significantly affect the growth or long-term health of the tree.
  • I will NOT sell any tree that has a poor graft which I believe is likely to fail later in life.
  • I will NOT sell any tree that I believe has any kind of fireblight infection.
  • I will notify you of any issues about a tree before you buy it, if any issue exists. For example, if a tree has been growing at a particularly slow pace, if it’s struggled with something, or was damaged, but bounced back, etc.

Again, my primary goal is that you put a good tree in your ground that’s going to thrive.
