This website is dedicated to providing information to help you choose and successfully grow fruit trees in the Piedmont North Carolina area.

Our way is a simpler way.

A return to connecting with the natural world, relying on science to reinforce this connection, not as a means to bypass it. We support organic growing practices, that limit all toxic chemicals and manmade substances that have a negative environmental impact.

[Save the bees! Commercial bee keepers are reporting record-breaking colony losses in 2025. ]

GoodApple.Info is being built as a shopping cart website as the most efficient means to present a large catalog of fruit tree varieties. At this time we have no plans to sell anything online. All fruit trees are sold in person, in Rockwell N.C. and the immediate surrounding areas.

If you have any questions, or would like help selecting varieties for your orchard, please feel free to email me;

A lot of what you know about growing fruit trees is probably wrong. MOST of the information circulating around the big box stores and nurseries comes from commercial orchard operations. The approach for a small home grower can be quite different… the approach for a small, home, organic grower, even more so!

The following 3 notable southern apples were hit hard with CAR this spring and I would normally not recommend them unless you have a good spray program in place, HOWEVER, I am happy to note that all of these listed bounced back strong. While I can’t speak to their long-term potential, perhaps their resilience will outpace future CAR outbreaks.
